12.7%! China's GDP sees expansion in H1 of 2021, while unemployments among youth rise
China's economy grew by more than 12 percent in the first half of the year, according to government data. Economists say the world's second largest economy is recovering from the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, and showing strong growth momentum.
Data also shows the unemployment rate for urban youth aged 16 to 24 was about 15 percent in June, up 1.6 percentage points from the previous month.
