its a great design but i will never understand why it isnt named after something that it actually looks like. call it the lacefly or the dragonfly or something. its definitely got that profile from the front

Scorpion Gunship > AH-1Cobra, SA-2 Samson > UH-1 Huey as this movie is really Vietnam like so the comparison to a Cobra and Huey is acceptable.

One of the best movie aircraft designs of all time. As a helicopter engineer these things blew me away, I could believe this is a real aircraft, yet it looks like something we don't have access to today.

Lol I'm sure the military will call it something else when they build it.
From what i have seen building one of these would surpass all rotor craft currently available.
Not the fastest but the most capable rotor craft :-)
