Avatar Featurette: Navi

Avatar is a mirror story on many levels , some are blatient and are lying there right on the surface , but in humble recognition, many of layers run deep under the surface, and can be internally recognised deep inside. .that takes a lot of work and respect on many levels. The Na'vi Reflect a lot of "unspoken" examples through there actions and expressions , these example actions and expressions are the result of deep research for the very real world indigious knowledge and world view , that lies at the heart of indigious communities from around our world and the deeply disturbing historical actions our people have impacted upon them ,Take one look at "The Doctrine of discovery" 90% of people I asked don't have a clue as to what that is. , , there are sublime layers of "Recognition" embedded within hundreds of examples within this film .Has anyone ever asked why Avatar "feels" the way it does ? I was really moved by these layers , it is not something I have ever seen before in my life time..and I don't make that statement lightly.

Why can't there be a movie where the sapient aliens don't look like people.

So white people can connect to giant blue aliens, but not black or asian or cental latin americans. Shit.

Shame they come off as violent, aggressive, unreasonable, racist, xenophobic technophobes who are utterly convinced of the superiority of their culture and religion.

I liked the way the Na'vi actually biologically connect and link up with their flying mounts, that was pretty cool.

I only said it because it was true.
